Experience

Extensive experience in preparation and review of complex tax returns, FAS 109/FIN 48 tax accruals, consulting, research and planning for a divers client base. Wide-ranging experience in structuring transactions for maximum client benefit. Preparation or review of tax opinion letters on proposed transactions and private letter ruling requests implementing proactive planning strategies.

Provides aggressive and effective representation of clients companies and individuals on audit and collection matters before the Internal Revenue Service and other taxing authorities.

Practice emphasis is in tax related areas dealing with the closely-held business in real estate ventures, mergers and acquisitions, construction contractors, manufacturers, distributors, moving storage and trucking companies, state/local tax nexus issues and estate/gift planning for high-wealth individuals. Mr. Singer actively participates in continuing professional education to continually improve knowledge and his ability to serve clients.
